Integrated Farming Project

How we work

The Integrated Farming Project aims to increase agricultural productivity by 60% and reduce water consumption by 40%. We achieve this goal through an investment in a renewable energy hybrid power plant, drip irrigation systems, and tunnel farming as well as the implementation of state-of-the-art farming processes.

The Project represents the first holistic solution integrating renewable energy technology, advanced agricultural know-how and sustainability in Pakistan.

The Project creates qualified local jobs and employs unskilled labor at above average wages. We supply reliable electricity to the village inhabitants, provide clean drinking water and install a sewage treatment facility free of charge for the village. Thereby, the Project fosters a significant improvement in quality of life for the local inhabitants and the surrounding areas.

IRDC markets agricultural produce (fruits, vegetables) to local customers in Pakistan. The cultivation of herbs and spices for export to Europe is planned.

“The Integrated Farming Project integrates the local community, enables indigenous energy supply and efficient use of water, and delivers professional farming and control processes to a profitable venture”
